Book

Writing this blog has provoked me to try my hand at a book, autobiography. I’m only showing the first couple of sentences from each chapter hoping to get published. The videos on the belief page explore my subject, consciousness. My books working title is: Coma, Memory, Belief. Its theme: the elevation of consciousness toward the recognition that it is reality. Our thinking is as real as the table and chairs in this place where we now sit. As a species we need to take our understanding of consciousness to the next level to evolve. I believe we can evolve towards a new perception, a new reality…

Before

I survived coma forgetting much, at first even my native language. I’m an English speaking Australian who knows a little German, the language I spoke when I first became conscious…

Light

Science is starting to question the role consciousness plays in the construction of reality. We bring concept to bear on it, but consciousness does perceive something. We are stimulated by cognition and curiosity…

Coma

Often I rented a motorbike when traveling, this time with purpose. It was a couple of years after the onset of Meniere’s disease, I rode carefully at first aware of the possibility of an attack at any moment…

Memory

What can I remember before coma? It’s curious what comes to mind when broadly trying to use that faculty, I’ll just explore…

Belief

I lost consciousness in coma, but by my research online some people didn’t. For me there has been pressing ideas since my reboot that I now attribute to it, belief…

Intelligence

According to some sources, intelligence is the ability to acquire and apply knowledge and skills while consciousness is a state of being, aware of oneself and one’s surroundings…

Consciousness

The wonderment of consciousness. This is the first result of a Chrome search, “what is consciousness?”, 12/07/2023 Singapore:

“Consciousness, at its simplest, is awareness of internal and external existence. However, its nature has led to millennia of analyses, explanations and debates by philosophers, theologians, linguists, and scientists. Opinions differ about what exactly needs to be studied or even considered consciousness.”

Reality

We are locked in, our personal filter for reality is subjectivity. Otherness is also real, objectivity. We have concepts for both, what is real? Certainly reality extends beyond our perception…

Evolution

I believe another evolutionary turning point beyond the current state of play is inevitable, in 10 or 1000 years, that’s if we survive global warming. Evolution changes our perception, our reality. We should elevate consciousness in our understanding of reality…
