After my descent into coma I have considered the effects thereof contemplating nothingness. I’ve been interested in the philosophy of mind. I now think of reality as consciousness. A quote from philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, the author of Being and Nothingness, “Life has no meaning a priori. Before you come alive, life is nothing; it’s up to you to give it a meaning”. Monist theory goes one step further claiming there is no world on which to give meaning, everything is mind.
