Having seen an item about sexism on TV and previously writing about another human difference, race, I again thought to comment.
Commonly the term sexism refers to a perceived intellectual inequality, of course there are physical differences. Women hold a smaller number of powerful positions, in government or authority, CEO for example, certainly not the 50% required for equality.
In truth we are all conscious human beings equal in our perception of the world. I suspect women aren’t driven by the puerile concerns of power like men, the root of sexism is power. That might be where I lose my sense of equality, perhaps women are more discerning. Difference is a difficult discussion in a world driven by men, I feel politics coming on again.
