Ich bin wieder da
A return to my country of origin rather than birth, Germany. A profound experience to be here again. Where I once lived and worked, where my parents come from. The home of my heart, perhaps my brain is partly Australian, but mostly German I think.
One of the most important things in life is heritage. I think it’s the biggest difference between artificial and human intelligence, ancestry. Ancestry comes with feeling. In modernity we often don’t pay a lot of attention to heritage, in some countries they do, Japan comes to mind. I suspect this will become the differentiator between us and computers, living organisms and machines.
