As I have always said, coma recovery is painfully slow. After about a year of not being able to walk without my stick, I’m trying again to leave it at home. I think the new pathways in the brain to my leg for walking are taken hold. By frequently using these brain pathways, my memory and right hand are also improving. As I have consistently said, we must try to use the brain as we did before coma, we will slowly become who we were. My walking is still very staggered without the stick.
