Religion, like science, offers meaning. We exist in the third dimension from which science is derived. For science, the universe is infinite, as are the number of dimensions. Science can be proven through observation, experiment, repetition. Today we believe in science rather than religion, always seeking meaning. We perceive matter, morality, infinity, life is pretty big. We are 3rd dimensional creatures which governs our perception. Religion offers another meaning but isn’t empirical fact. It recognises infinity, perhaps it is more focused on morality. Indeed, as Carl Jung suggests, we are part of the infinite, a quote:
“The decisive question for man is: Is he related to something infinite or not? … If we understand and feel that here in this life we already have a link with the infinite, desires and attitudes change.”
