After my descent into coma I have considered the effects thereof questioning nothingness. I now think of reality in different terms, everything comes from consciousness. Quoting philosopher Jean-Paul Sartre, the author of Being and Nothingness, “Life has no meaning a priori. Before you come alive, life is nothing; it’s up to you to give it a meaning”. Monist theory goes further than Sartre claiming there is no material world on which to give meaning. There is nothing but mind.
