ChatGPT, Grok, DeepSeek, Gemini, are chatbots without reasoning. They simply guess the next word according to statistical probability, given a context. A chatbot is a mathematical process driven by a Large Language Model (LLM). They are excellent at pattern matching, and so mimic reasoning, but chatobots lack conscious awareness.

LLMs are a reflection of us, using our literature to guess the next word. I suspect life is necessary to be in the game, to experience existence. Not just the logical comprehension, but the feeling. What word typically comes near computer? Mouse.

It will be a different story when AI achieves General Intelligence. Human intelligence will no longer be required for practical purposes, just for our own personal reflection, and communication. Human intelligence’s greatest expression might be: art, literature, science, music, love, truly human endeavors. AI can be left to do all the heavy lifting, we can more freely explore existence.
