Koh Samui again. It is perhaps my most visited travel destination. I have never lived here, but did once visit Bangkok for work at the regional center for business in Singapore. Thailand was recognized as the most visited destination for tourism, I think Indonesia for family, Singapore for business etc. That job was about developing south east Asia’s role in the world, connecting us with known influences. I can’t remember the job so well, but recall there was some engagement with Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia.

Back in the day, it was a ferry to Koh Samui from Suratani, then the car ferry came in, now an airport. When I first came there were virtually no cars, now grid lock. It was a different experience. Anyway, here for my birthday, just forget what was and enjoy the now.
