WordPress now asks if the writing is my own. I don’t use ChatGPT, DeepSeek, Gemini, Grok, to write, occasionally to proofread. Like the pen, we now have many tools to help us write. This blog’s content is not AI friendly, algorithms cannot experience coma, or the complexities of reawakening. AI doesn’t have a past it is trying to reclaim. 

All I can say is, the entire website is my writing. That may be difficult to prove, to anyone that doesn’t know me. We all have a past, which culminates in identity. Perhaps we should develop a method for showing whether writing is of biological origin.

Maybe human writing should be in the colour red, to signify blood. Perhaps one day, humans will need to prove they are so. What’s more, I reckon without feeling or emotion, AI doesn’t reflect life. Humans are beyond AI, philosophically and for the mundane, always finding meaning.  Purpose is just an abstract idea for AI, humans take it to heart. 

We must remember, a large language model (LLM) has no sentience. It is just a mathematical process, using statistical probability to predict the next word, given a context. AI interprets and assigns meaning according to human logic, it has no voice. It uses human literature to guess the next word, and so reflects human thought. There is no being there. It has used the writings of Plato, Jesus, Shakespeare, among others, to guess the next word.
