Must comment on the recent killings in Minneapolis of American citizens by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). 

Alex Pretti and Renee Good were killed by ICE weeks apart. Both victims were immediately labelled local terrorists. ICE claimed it was in self defense, video footage suggests otherwise. There is still no evidence to excuse the killings. ICE was sent to Minneapolis by president Trump, according to google “to massively increase the number of deportations carried out…”

People who live there protested. One must wonder as to the real motivation, it only caused civil unrest. Trump used the Insurrection Act, it permits US troops to be used locally. There certainly was no need for troops, for military defense in the absence of such a threat. Perhaps soldiers are more impulsive, they certainly aren’t trained police.
