Artificial Intelligence chatbots like GPT, Grok, DeepSeek, Gemini, have no reasoning. They simply guess the next word according to statistical probability, given a context. A chatbot is a mathematical process in a Large Language Model (LLM). Computers are good at maths, but they have no intelligence. LLMs are a reflection of us using our literature to guess the next word. What word commonly comes after computer? Rather than intelligence, a chatbot more resembles a mouse.

It will be a different story when AI achieves sentience, or AI General Intelligence. Then when it moves to Super Intelligence, ours will no longer be required for practical use, only for human to human exchanges of meaning, purpose, and belief.
